  11. Is there some reason why V4.xx does not use the terminfo files, but
  12. insists on using the termcap file? There seems to be no good reason
  13. for having terminfo if the system does not use it by default, or
  14. is there some undocumented reason for this?. Considering that terminfo
  15. text fiel\ files are constructed with commas and termcap use colons to divide
  16. fields, and the code symbols are different, what is the point of having the
  17. two?
  18. Can any one (Udo)? shed any light on this.
