- That's a bug in w-news. Udo posted a simple fix for it. Make sure
- your active file is sorted in alphabetical order by the name of the
- newsgroup.

- cat active | sort > active.new

- should do it. Then look over active.new to make sure it's OK and
- do mv active.new active and you'll be OK. Just keep the active
- file in sorted order.
