- This is only in Coherent's uucico. If you use taylor, you don't get
- this problem.

- One quick fix is to make a shell script like this:

- uucico -ssomesys
- /etc/disable /dev/com1l (or whatever com is being used)

- and use that instead of uucico directly. You could make it fancier
- so that a variable is used instead of the system name "somesys" and
- a variable for the port name, as well. The point is that you call
- disable right after uucico.

- I was kinda peeved at the fact uucico liked to re-enable ports, too.
- I don't know why it does this. It should check to see if it was
- enabled in the first place and return it to whatever state it was in. You
- could make a shell script to do that as well.
