  11. After a long dry spell of my postings not making it out, here
  12. are the FAQs.  I realize I am less than punctual about posting
  13. these, but, after my upstream site changed news host names, 
  14. not posting one made it out of here for nearly 3 months.  We
  15. are not what you would call a high volume site, although 
  16. incoming is usually near 40 megs a day, our outgoing doesn't
  17. make it past two or three postings a week.  My last posting
  18. from an Internet host was unusual.  Since I pay $$$ for time
  19. on that host I never read news there, and so I never had an
  20. idea that my postings never made it upstream.  However, I 
  21. have always verified that they were going to my site 
  22. (minuet.omc.com) which is a down stream leaf node, and so I 
  23. thought all was well.   It wasn't.  So if you are reading 
  24. this, the FAQs should again start coming out in a semi-punctual
  25. manner, well, maybe even more punctual manner.

  27. The current FAQs are at REV 2.3.  When I make a change to any
  28. FAQ, all the REVs roll to reflect them as a "set".  This set
  29. had some formatting corrections and some input from Robert
  30. Chalmers is OZ.  I appreciate the updates and corrections!

  32. I have received some offers for help with the FAQs, and I have
  33. forwarded my ideas to those people.  I hope the quality and 
  34. consistancy of the FAQ can be improved with a second set of eyes
  35. and effort.
