- I installed the r70 kernel and the taylor UUCP beta. Under r70 both
- Coherent UUCP and the taylor port crashed with segmentation violations.
-
- My computer:
-
- -- AMI 386-SX BIOS, dated 12/15/89
- -- 2 MB RAM
- -- Coherent occupies 20 MB partition on a 45 MB IDE hard drive
- -- four serial ports, one hooked up to a vt102 and two of the others
- hooked up to modems (all 8250/16450 UART'S)
-
- As soon as I can find my master disks (or borrow a set :) I'm going
- to re-install -- since I don't have the DDK -- and see if taylor works
- by itself.
-
- Anyone else have problems with a similar setup?
-
- (Note: I had a multifunction card die recently, so I'm wondering if the
- software problem isn't related to some hardware problem...)
