- I'm new to Coherent (and also this newsgroup). If this is in the
- FAQ, or has been discussed before, I appologize. I looked through some
- past messages on this group and didn't see this topic.
-
- Has anyone used the OS/2 Boot Manager to boot Conherent? I had two
- partitions before I installed Coherent (HD 0 was DOS and HD 1 was OS/2).
- The OS/2 Boot Mananger system on drive 0 allowed me to run either OS
- from the boot menu. When I installed Coherent (on a portion of HD 0), I
- thought I could just add the Coherent partition to the Boot Manager
- menu. However, when I select Coherent from the Boot Manager menu at
- boot-up time, I instantly get a "?" prompt and am forced to reboot. DOS
- and OS/2 boot fine. Coherent will only boot if I use fdisk manually to
- set the Coherent partition active. Anyone else had this problem? If
- so, I would greatly appreciate some help.
-
- thanx,
- Sam
