- I've tried! But nobody wants to listen! :-) It's amazing how many people
- have no idea that this country "survived" for the first 120 or so years of
- its existence without "soaking the rich" via income taxes. I wish people
- would actually READ their history books and at least PRETEND that they're
- interested so later in life they can carry on a somewhat intelligent
- conversation. Sheesh. I suppose I'm expecting too much! :-) I have
- noticed, though, that netters are generally more aware than non-netters.
- It must help to have sources of information besides Dan Rather <hok! ptuey!>.
