- Hi,
-
- I am a songwriter and I was thinking about buying a synth or sound
- module (like Roland JV 80 or Yamaha TG500) but then I only need the sounds
- (samples) and I am not likely to mess around with the parameters too much.
- I've used a korg M1 and an Ensoniq SQ1+ and they sound fine.
-
- So to the question : Can I buy a soundcard which sound as good as
- any of the workstation/keyboards above ??? I want it to write the backing
- music for songs, so good drums, bass and probably piano/strings/brass etc
- are required. probably need about 20 'ish note polyphony.
-
- I've got a 386DX 40Mhz IBM compatible PC. Thanks for any help,
-
