- I've seen C-Cube's MPEG board running on a PC delivering MPEG sound and
- video at 150kb/sec. It looked really good; the chips and board are avaliable
- now I believe. SGS Thompson has recently announced it is bringing out a
- MPEG chip, but it isn't avaliable yet to my knowledge.
-
- Last week AMD and C-Cube announced that they will share technology, with the
- aim of embedding MPEG/JPEG/Px64 into the CPU!! This won't happen next week,
- but maybe in a year of so we'll see something on the market. What is certain
- in terms of timing is that MPEG/Digital video scene is happening quickly.
-
-
- Try calling C-Cube directly :

- fax. (408)944-6314
-
- Hope this helps. Regards,
- Charles.
