  15. Hi there, I've just updated our mail server to run Sendmail 5.65c with
  16. IDA enhancements.  Everything else (aliases, DBM files, etc.) seem to
  17. work except for the 'prog' mailer.  It apparently is not compatible
  18. with the Sun Sendmail one that we were running before (SunOS 4.1.2, no
  19. MX).  Various .forward files that used to work are not bombing.

  21. Some folks are doing "| if ... ; then ... ; else ... ; fi" and you get
  22. "sh: syntax error at line 1: `end of file' unexpected" and "unknown
  23. mailer error 2" messages now (didn't used to before).

  25. I found and disabled "OB." so that the blanks in some of the command
  26. lines aren't being changed to ".", that seems to have fixed some of the
  27. problems.  Anyone seen this before, and can provide pointers on how to
  28. remedy it?  As postmaster, my mailbox is getting full of bounces from
  29. the few people who use this feature, who are on active mailing lists
  30. (natch).
