- Does anyone know why:
-
- Alternate-Mailboxes: anthony,anthony@nella*,anthony@*.monash.edu.au,anthony@*.rdt.monash.edu.au
-
- matches 'anthony@nella1.cc.monash.edu.au', but not
- 'anthony@daneel.rdt.monash.edu.au', or 'anthony@rdt.monash.edu.au'?
-
- I really, really dont want to have to list every single machine in the
- Alternate-Mailboxes: line, nor do I wish to have to have 'anthony@*' as an
- Alternate-Mailbox.
-
- From the mh-profile man page:
-
- In addition, an asterisk (`*') may appear at
- either or both ends of the mailbox and host to
- indicate wild-card matching. (profile, default:
- your user-id)
-
- Does this mean that it can only be at either end of the 'mailbox@host', or
- at either end of 'mailbox' and 'host'? It would be nice if it was the second,
- but in either case this section of the man page could do with a little bit
- of clarification.
-
- Thanks,
- Anthony
