  22. A followup.  Several of my previously sent messages came back, and they  
  23. had the perhaps useful piece of information:

  25. slocal: missing argument to -user
  26. 554 "| /usr/local/mh/lib/slocal -user $USER"... 554 unknown mailer error 1
  27.  
  28. I've since tried with a change to the .forward substituting my login id  
  29. for $USER, but this doesn't seem to help either.
