  10. We see an intermittent problem in PL20 on a Sequent Symmetry under PTX (SVR3).
  11. Just occasionally, ELM fails to start the defined editor, and we get

  15. I did a local patch to show the errno value, and it's 1 (EPERM). It's been seen
  16. when doing a r)eply; don't know if it happens in other circumstances.

  18. Once this happens, you don't ever seem to be able to start the editor in the
  19. same ELM session; but exiting and restarting it will put it right. We don't see
  20. any problems starting this editor from anything else.
