- I would like to modify the appearance of a character in a Type 1 font (in
- this particular case, the lowercase Helvetica el "l"). Can this be done
- and, if so, can someone point me in the right direction?
-
- My first attempt was to copy the type 1 font into a new type 3 font, add
- a buildchar routine and redefine the drawing procedure for the character
- I wished to change but I cannot figure out a way to execute the
- proprietary drawing routines once they are in a Type 3 font. If someone
- knows a way to do this, or another approach altogether, I would
- appreciate the help.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
