- I am in need of assistance in converting PS to EPS file formats. The PS
- files are single page graphics files produces in the application S. I
- would like to convert them to EPS format for importing as figures into
- a report.
-
- I read the FAQ in this forum and tried the suggestions in subject 9.3
- on the issue of coverting PS to EPS, but have had no success. The commands
- erasepage and initclip are defined in the early portion of the PS file, but
- not referenced later. Subject 9.3 defines these as operators that should
- not be used in an EPS file, and I have tried removing the lines that contain
- them but still no luck. The error that WordPerfect reports when I try to
- retrieve the file into a graphics figure box is "incorrect format".
-
- The ideal solution would be for someone to recommend to me a utility on
- the DOS or UNIX platforms that will do the conversion for me. Alternatively
- I will gladly accept recommendations or assistance if someone offers. I have
- perhaps 50 such files, and because of their similarity I suspect the same
- problem plagues them all, so one solution gets 50. Pretty good return, I
- think.
-
- Thanks in advance.
- Mark
