- There are various more or less usable PD-compilers:
-
- p2c - a Pascal to C converter. I heard its not so good to develop
- pascal programs. It works with correct Pascal-source but often
- dumps core on wrong code.
-
- comp.unix.misc.volume23 [I think]
- There is a pascal compiler which generates p-code coming
- along with a p-code interpreter, both written in pascal.
- I did not give it a try by now, but maybe it will compile
- with p2c.
-
- Pascal Compiler in the NET-2 Distribution.
- I don't know nothing about that beast. I was curious and ftped
- it. I had a short look at the sources, but I still dont know if
- it generates only p-code, or how hard it is to compile. The
- distribution consists of various wierd BSD-Makefiles. Does
- anybody know if it is worth to have a look at it? I think, if it
- would be easy to port, someone would have done that already.
- Or did somebody gibe it a try? Any experiences with it?
-
- Cheers
- Guido
