- This is an interesting "bug".....picks on 2's and 8's....might qualify for
- a Deep Space 8 story line (thinking of the one on last night).

- If this were a common problem, it would have been mentioned repeatedly
- in this newsgroup. ;^)
-
- But, ever being a skeptic, I immediately dropped out of Ether Drive and
- composed a progam listing in TP with oodles of 2's and 8's embedded in
- CONST strings.....compileable code all...several screens fulls so'd I'd
- have to hold down the arrow key to get from top to bottom or visa-versa.
-
- Sigh...no trouble with missing 2's and 8's...and no problem compiling
- afterwards...

- Now at this point I think it becomes really interesting....I would have
- gone over to another PC and borrowed it's keyboard....

-
- So, :^) what are you waiting for? Disconnect your keyboard, plug a
- known clean one in and try it?
-
- And tell us what happens.
-
- BTW, it's not big deal to move the BP.exe file to another machine and
- test whether it does the very same on a "clean" machine....... :^)
-
- I'm not definitely sure that it's your keyboard, but I've got a flakely one
- lying over in the corner that used to do nice tricks on me too. :^)
