  24. mean any of several things: enabling and disabling 
  25. commands, toggling check marks to settings options selected 
  26. via a submenu, or even toggling the string associated with
  27. the submenu item.  Which of these possibilities do you have
  28. in mind? Or is there something else?

  33. Again, I'm usually pretty dull witted, so a more elaborate
  34. description of the problem and the design might help.
