  27. I have used TurboPower's B-Tree Filer (Network version) and Object
  28. Professional (for Turbo Pascal, and also for Borland C++).
  29. Both are really good products and can be compiled in protected mode
  30. with Borland Pascal 7.0.
  31. Object Professional is full of useful programming routines for (DOS)
  32. character-based window applications. These routines are fast and
  33. easy to use. The only defaults are that event-driven application
  34. are difficult to program (you'll have to add a lot of code), and that
  35. the C++ version doesn't use the full capabilities of the language
  36. (the reason is that they want to keep the C++ version easy to use for
  37. Turbo Pascal programmers).
  38. The B-Tree Filer routines are fast, and can be employed with many different
  39. networks. They can also be used with Turbo Pascal for Windows.
