- It is a good point, but I would say that the likely number of the
- people who do *not* know the answers is much more relevant. One of
- the purposes of this newsgroud is giving and exchanging information
- to enhance the genral level of know-how about Pascal in its various
- renditions (most often Turbo Pascal). The main idea is not the
- "spare" the majority users from seeing things they already know.

- We have also take into account that there are tens of thousands of
- readers in the newsgroups, which means that if the question is not
- totally trivial there usually is some general interest for any
- relevant question. (The readership tally is published in news.lists
- monthly, but I do not recall the figures for comp.lang.pascal). It
- is quite usual that the readers may not come to thing how
- extensively the newsgroups are read.
