- I use PV-Wave to analyze geophysical data and often wish there were
- a simple way to overlay AutoCad information such as rivers, roads,
- buildings, etc., on top of a PV-Wave image such as produced by
- image_cont. I have a quick-and-dirty filter that strips polylines
- out of an AutoCad dxf file and writes a file I can overplot with
- oplot. Unfortunately, I lose all text information as well as more
- complicated graphical objects such as symbols, ellipses, circles, etc.
-
- Has anyone written a more sophisticated filter? How about going the
- other way: read a PV-Wave image into Acad v10? Any public domain
- graphical editors that let me take an PV-Wave cgm or tiff file and
- and text, lines, boxes, etc., would be useful as well, but I would
- still have to recreate all the information in the AutoCad drawing.
-
- Thanks!
