  14. Miranda(TM) is a modern  functional  language  with  polymorphic  strong
  15. typing, lazy evaluation, and a simple but powerful module system.  It is
  16. currently running at over 500  sites,  and  is  being  widely  used  for
  17. teaching (among other purposes).  It is distributed by Research Software
  18. Ltd.
