  13. A remote server has a directory structure that I want to refer to.
  14. I could just link to the top of the remote tree, but that means
  15. every directory lookup must go remotely.  For enhanced response
  16. locally, I would like to duplicate the remote tree, and have
  17. local link files to the individual files on the remote machine.

  19. I've got Edward Vielmetti's "ungopher", which will make a link file
  20. to the contents of a remote directory, but I haven't seen anything
  21. that will walk up and down the tree.  Does anyone have anything
  22. to do this?
