- A remote server has a directory structure that I want to refer to.
- I could just link to the top of the remote tree, but that means
- every directory lookup must go remotely. For enhanced response
- locally, I would like to duplicate the remote tree, and have
- local link files to the individual files on the remote machine.
-
- I've got Edward Vielmetti's "ungopher", which will make a link file
- to the contents of a remote directory, but I haven't seen anything
- that will walk up and down the tree. Does anyone have anything
- to do this?
-
- Thanks ...
