- There are two solutions to this:

- 1) set up a slip server and use the PC-Gopher across a phone line..
- Very nice.

- 2) Let your users log into a UNIX or VMS box running gopher 1.11 or
- higher. You'll need to have kermit installed on the unix box for this
- to work... (i.e. it's external to the client)

- Then the users can press 'D' for download on a document and receive it
- using kermit, xmodem, ymodem, zmodem, or text.
