- This isn't a complete answer, but for your specific example, Xgopher
- can do this. It is strange, but acceptible for the top level gopher
- item to be an index search (type 7), either with or without the
- keywords already specified. In other words, you can be prompted for
- the index search words or use ones already in the search item. Of
- course, you pay the time penalty of waiting for the search to be
- executed each time you start up Xgopher at this root item.
