- The U.S. historical boundary digital files from 1850-1970 (one for
- every ten years) are available from:

- Baton Rouge, LA 70808

- I am one of those who have worked on these files. They were
- originally digitized in Atlas*Draw. The resolution is relatively
- coarse at county and state levels but it should be fine at national
- levels (of course, it depends on what you want to do with them).
- I believe these files are available in Atlas .ABF, and intergraph
- formats. Recently, I put them in ARC/INFO coverages. However, I am not
- supposed to distribute to anyone because I left LSU two years ago.
- For boundaries earlier than 1850, I am not sure they have those because
- they were talking about digitizing them long time ago.
