- Regarding the requests for digital bathymetry data

- The Rutgers/CERL Global CD-ROM project is finishing preparation of CD # 2
- and #3, to be available in early March `93.

- CD #2 contains 53 global NDVI vegetation
- greeness layers, one for each week of 1988.

- CD #3 contains diverse data, including global bathymetry derived from
- the etopo5 data. Also included are 12 monthly average rainfall, temperature,
- and cloud cover data sets, a cloudless AVHRR composite, global
- watersheds and rivers of the world (5 seperate files), and others.

- All data are raster uncompressed files (in the GRASS directory structure
- for use by most GIS systems, including GRASS, IDRISI, Arc/Info GRID, and others
- All data are co-registered with CD #1, and have a cell size of 4 min 48 seconds

- Each CD is US$375, less 25% to US governmental agencies, Non-US please add
- $10 shipping. All three can be ordered for a discount price of US$900. All
- proceeds go for production of additional data sets.
