  12. Hi Netters,
  13.     Here I am ready for a thesis, fascinated by a concept called
  14. GIS, presenting wonderful spatial data along with simple relational data
  15. But Having no idea what so ever as to how one relates and creates such a 
  16. system.

  18. Could any of the gurus here please guide this novice and 
  19. provide him with info. on how to go about understanding the concept of
  20. GIS, its data management mechanisms, and the whole works.
  21. Any basic texts, references journals that can be used to understand this
  22. fun field will help immensely.
