  39. As Robin said, GEBCO is a good start for small scale vector bathymetry.
  40. You may also be interested in looking at raster data.
  41. "Digital Bathymetric Data Base - 5 minute grid" (DBDB5) is another
  42. good source. The data were compiled in the US by the Naval Ocean
  43. Research and Development Activities (NORDA) and the Naval Oceanographic
  44. Office (USNOO) with support from the Office of Naval Research. As the
  45. data is interpolated onto 5 min by 5 min grid, the scale changes from
  46. latitude to latitude. Again, the coverage is global. The cost is minimal.
