  11. We are developing some image generation hardware and need to research some 
  12. quality issues.  Specifically, the quality of motion when the images are 
  13. generated in real time.  I know that anti-aliasing of moving images requires 
  14. some care.

  16. So, given that our hardware simulator (VHDL) can't generate images in 
  17. anything like real time, it is necessary to assemble a series of still 
  18. frames in to a movie.

  20. Can anyone suggest some software that does this?  For platforms, we have 
  21. PC's, Mac's, Indigo's, SparcStations, etc.  On the PC (the platform I know), 
  22. we have MPEG and DL movie players.

  24. My basic notion of the software in question has it taking a series of TIF 
  25. files and compressing/formatting them into an MPEG movie.
