  11. First: Hash does NOT USE CATMULL-ROM SPLINES.  They are loosly based on C-R
  12. splines but they have more control at the CV level that C-R splines.  Also,
  13. Hash splines creat three-CV patches rather than four-CV patches.

  15. Second: There is nothing "grade-a" or "genuine" about NURBS...nor is there
  16. anything "standard" about them.  NURBS have been a pain in my side for the
  17. greater part of a year.  Oh  I've created some nice things with NURBS, but
  18. it was a very painful process.
