  21. It can for laying down animation.  
  22. It is not, and does not try to be, an edit controller.  It is a production 
  23. switcher, comparable to any medium price switcher on the market.  It 
  24. has low-end DVE effects.  It has 2 frame buffers for frame-grabs, and 
  25. paint box work.  It does Chroma effects.  It has a VERY decent character 
  26. generator built in with 24bit fonts, and gosh jolly it just happens to have 
  27. a _very_ useable 3D model/animation/render package thrown in... useable 
  28. enough for a Mac worshipper/Amigaphobe like Tod Rudgren  and many others 
  29. doing actual production animation.  How much do you say??? Current prices
  30. I have seen are in the $2000-2100 range. (see below *)
