- ATEK Information Systems, Inc. (formerly Redlake Corp.) sells
- a frame grabber called SPECTRUM NTSC+ for 286/386/486 PCs.
- They have device drivers for DOS, MS-WINDOWS, and Unix SYS V
- (compatible with ISC Unix V. Rel 3.2 and X11/R3. We run it under
- DOS. I highly recommend the card - its the best I've tested in terms
- of $/performance. No, I have no association with the company. I just
- bought one frame grabber, and intend to buy more in the near future.
- Their technical assistance on the phone is great and they are friendly
- enough to send you free software updates and new manuals by request.
- I have to admit that I am a little tired of the high nose/high price
- approach by Data Translation, which one of the reasons for recommending
- 'other venders'.
