  12. We have been struggling the last few days trying to sort out problems with
  13. fonts in the System 7.0/Mac IIci and System 7.1/Mac IIvi work stations in
  14. the Graphics Department of the University.
  15.  
  16. The problems are varied depending on what fonts we're trying to load.  For
  17. example the Courier typeface supplied by ATM when loaded through the install
  18. mode of ATM is place into the "Extensions" folder in the "Systems" while the
  19. other three typefaces "Helvetica, Times, ?" go into the "Systems" folder. 
  20. The "Helvetica" typeface will display in Adobe Illustrator 3.2 but will not
  21. print on our Laserwriter.  Adobe 'stand-alone' typeface packages that we own
  22. also react differently.  The "Math" typeface we own displays and prints
  23. without a problem, but the "Goudy" typeface will neither display or print!

  25. The problems go on and on.  We are working with all Type 1 faces but have
  26. the Cassidy & Green boxed set of typefaces with both Adobe fonts and Trutype
  27. fonts.  We haven't started to load these yet since we're having problems
  28. with the basic set.

  30. Can anyone enlighten me to a source for "font" talk for the MAC and does
  31. anyone have any info/experiences that could help me!
