- Is there something I can put in .emacs to change the default fill-column?
- I've crawled around the code a bit, but have been unable to find it, so I
- end up doing something like ^U80^Xf in 95% of the buffers I visit! Yuk!

- I understand RMS made it 70 so that there would be room for indenting
- quotes, but very little of what I use emacs for is ever quoted.
