- I recently got taken up on an offer to help teach kids in elementary
- school (grades 2-4 now) about computers. They have Mac's at the school.
- I'd like your ideas for software that will teach them about computers.
- I don't want games that teach nothing or some other subject.
- Ideas that have looked good so far include:
-
- Logo
- simple AI systems (e.g. building an animal guessing system)
- something called Warren Robinett's "Rocky's Boots"
- databases (only if there is some outside interest like a collection)
-
- Anyone with recommendations on software that is: a) Mac, b) available
- via the net (or at a low price), or comments on the above,
- please let me know by email.
-
- I have lots of experience with workstations (Unix, VMS), but almost none
- with Mac's.
-
- Thanks in advance.
