  16. I recently got taken up on an offer to help teach kids in elementary 
  17. school (grades 2-4 now) about computers.  They have Mac's at the school.
  18. I'd like your ideas for software that will teach them about computers.  
  19. I don't want games that teach nothing or some other subject.  
  20. Ideas that have looked good so far include:
  21.  
  22.    Logo
  23.    simple AI systems (e.g. building an animal guessing system)
  24.    something called Warren Robinett's "Rocky's Boots"
  25.    databases (only if there is some outside interest like a collection)
  26.  
  27. Anyone with recommendations on software that is: a) Mac, b) available 
  28. via the net (or at a low price), or comments on the above,
  29. please let me know by email.

  31. I have lots of experience with workstations (Unix, VMS), but almost none
  32. with Mac's.
