- You are correct. I indeed wish the USR would support a DTE of 115kbaud.
- The v.fast upgrade will support this speed, but for some reason they didn't
- include support for it in the current production modem.

- The USR still offers slightly better throughput than the WB, as well as
- better latency for interactive support, not by much, but slightly.

- For example, I get 160-180ms with 56 byte pings to my Netblazer on the
- USR modems, but 190-205ms with the WB modems (v.32bis/v.42bis). Both
- numbers are obviously with no traffic on the leased line..

- UUCP throughput (v.32bis/v.42bis) is maybe 5% faster on the USR verses
