  26. The telco will be most pleased.  They can make money from that modem bank. 
  27. Keep an eye on them, to make sure that they plan to charge the right person.

  32. You won't like the answer.  Nobody ever does.  Inside the "multiplexer" box is
  33. the X.25 packet handler.  Since your end users seem to be async. terminal
  34. types, put a PAD there as well.  {Sound of hundreds of readers making signs
  35. against the Evil Eye.}

  37. When your customers cut over to ISDN, the modems and the PAD are bypassed but
  38. the PH is still there.  The customers supply their own PADs.  {Chanting becomes
  39. audible.}
