  13. I have built and installed fax-3.2.1 and all is well except for using faxmail. I have an alias like:

  15. # Alias for on-line fax daemon

  17. fax:             "|/usr/local/lib/fax/faxmail"

  20. But when I send mail I get:

  22. baloo [/var/yp ] <364> mail -v fax
  23. Subject: test
  24. Phone: 5309328

  28. baloo [/var/yp ] <365> fax... aliased to                 "|/usr/local/lib/fax/faxmail"
  29. "|/usr/local/lib/fax/faxmail"... Connecting to baloo (prog)...
  30. missing a fax phone
  31. "|/usr/local/lib/fax/faxmail"... unknown mailer error 1

  33. Am I doing something stupid? It certainly runs the program.
  34. I even modified the faxmail to echo the arguments it found and sure enough:

  36. "|/usr/local/lib/fax/faxmail"... Connecting to baloo (prog)...
  37. (null) Operator <root> (null)

  39. This was for h->phone, h->from, and h->return_path.
