  13. Is it really necessary for a modem to have FAX support built-in in order
  14. to use it for PC-based FAX?  In other words, is there software available
  15. the allows a standard modem to communicate with a FAX machine?

  17. If not, then is anyone out there using a TELEBIT T3000 as a FAX?
  18. I have a T3000 that is probably about 4 months old that I don't think
  19. has any special FAX support (there's no mention of it in the manual).
  20. I understand that there is an upgrade rom for the T3000 that adds FAX
  21. capabilites.  Anyone out there used this?
