  14. I want opinions on the fastest modem protocol for SLIP connections
  15. when using "normal" dial-up phones lines.  Assume a moderate
  16. amount of line noise.

  18. And during a simple 'tip' or 'cu' data transfer?

  22. I hope your answers will focus on modem protocols as apposed to
  23. modem manufacturers or particular transfer programs.

  25. ISDN is (unfortunitely) not available where these modems are
  26. being installed.
