- Ingres and Oracle do not currently exchange data. They can be persuaded
- to have a "behind the back" conversation tho by doing embedded sql work
- and linking to both libraries (we have done this).

- Since you have had a trial copy of oracle in for evaluation, why don't
- you get a trial copy of Ingres too? Then you will have an equal basis
- for comparison. I make this recommendation with some confidence, since I
- think you will choose Ingres in a side-by-side comparison - especially
- when you look at the work that the DBA has to do in both cases.
