- Would someone help?
-
- in order to develop a database independent application
- (one that would run on all DBMS platforms), we could use
- any one of the several bridge products that are in the market.
-
- Example: uniface, omnis, jam, focus etc., etc.,
-
- but it appears that all or some of them offer APIs that have GUIs
- embedded in the database related calls.
-
- meaning, when you use them in your programs, you will have to necessarily
- use their GUI also in your application.
-
- our situation is that we have our own GUI builder product and we
- want to use just the bridge APIs that would help us access DBMS,
- without the GUI. (pure C APIs which do not have any GUIs).
-
- Is there any such bridge product?
-
- Please help and thanks in advance.
