- There may be other groups in which this question can be posted,
- but it seems appropriate to compression as well. The first two
- audio layers in the proposed MPEG standard include psychoacoustic
- masking to compress the audio portion of video, in addition to
- subband coding. Are there any good references or overview
- papers on this topic?
