  12. I'm trying to help out a friend of mine.  He claims that, when the
  13. JPEG standard was developed, there was a certain set of test images
  14. that were used to investigate/optimize different algorithms.  He would
  15. like to obtain these images for his own research.

  17. My question is, if such a set of images exists, is it available for
  18. FTP somewhere on the net?
