- I'm looking for a MSDos program to protect/deprotect data files on a PC. That
- is, the program which handles the data files is free to all persons using the
- PC, but each of them can encrypt his/her data files with a password if they
- want to.
- When attempting to access the data files, the program should then detect if the
- file has been encrypted and ask for the proper password for decryption and
- decrypt the data before feeding it to the application.
- All this shall be transparent to the software (so I guess, a TSR watching the
- disk interrupts to accomplish this will be necessary).
-
- If you know of such software, please let me know!
-
- Thanks a lot,
- Kai

- P.S.: Please answer by email, as I'm not reading this group regularly!
