- So, I got some mail where the reply address resolved to:
-
- "FEGUY::CAE237"@CVG.SDRC.COM
-
- My smarthost re-wrote the address into UUCP format as:
-
- apple!cvg.sdrc.com!"FEGUY::CAE237"
-
- When I replied to it, it bounced.
-
- Now the question: Is the original internet style address (with 'at' sign)
- a valid internet address? Is the way my smarthost re-wrote the address
- a valid way to re-write the address?
-
- Inquiring minds wanna know!
-
- Regards,
- larry.
