  30. QWK, I've looked at it and the protocol is the worst kind of blasphemy
  31. that has been foisted upon Fidonet in a LONG time.  All you have to
  32. do is run Deluxe2 to see that - not to mention that that offline-reader
  33. is the ONLY one with a character in its name not legal on "The Net"
  34. (Fido or Usenet)...

  41. QWK is, in my opinion, a way for a lazy bum to get pseudo-net access
  42. without having to succumb to the usual pain of intelligent thinking
  43. required for a Usenet uucp connection and/or Fidonet point/node setup.
  44. (minimal, but ever-present smiley :-)

  46. I think net access is the right way to go - QWK should die a quick
  47. death.  Only hope in offline readers is for a REAL offline interface
  48. to show up.
