- This is the 1st I've heard that you were using 16 bit
- compression. I assumed that it was 12 bit. I'd consider asking
- your smarthost to change it to 12 bit and use the normal compress.exe
- in the V1.65 archive. That's some real power stuff and I think
- it requires almost all of the 640K RAM.

- At least get your feed working before going into the 16 bit heavy
- hiters. slic is 12 bit and I get around 1450 cps when using uucp
- spoofing with my smarthost. My smarthost originally started
- feeding slic with 16 bit as I did not ask for 12 bit.
