  22. Just in passing - I use a little program called "watchcat" which
  23. co-exists happily with my fossil (X00).  Watchcat monitors both
  24. CD and the RING signals from the modem, and if the phone rings
  25. more than 20 times without the modem answering will assume that
  26. the BBS is stuck, and will reboot!  This has saved me hassles on
  27. a number of occasions :-)
