- Just in passing - I use a little program called "watchcat" which
- co-exists happily with my fossil (X00). Watchcat monitors both
- CD and the RING signals from the modem, and if the phone rings
- more than 20 times without the modem answering will assume that
- the BBS is stuck, and will reboot! This has saved me hassles on
- a number of occasions :-)
